Day 64 - Boundaries given - men chosen to divide the land:
Eleazar - God (is) helper
Joshua - Jehovah-saved
Caleb - forcible
Shemuel - heard of God
Elidad - God of (his) love
Bukki - wasteful (from H1238 - pour out)
Hanniel - favor or God
Kemuel - raised of God
Elizaphan - God of treasure
Paltiel - deliverance of God
Ahihud - brother (that is possessor) that is renown
Pedahel - God has ransomed
- how awesome are the attributes of God described in the names of those chosen to divide HIS inheritance for HIS people -
Cities of refuge promised - for those who did not with previous thought desire to kill someone - BUT they had to stay in the city of refuge UNTIL the high priest died.
I am so glad our HIGH PRIEST will never die - that I can always have refuge in and through HIM. We serve a mighty and glorious King! Thank you Lord for Your word. Thank you Lord for those who have diligently studied and researched Your word and made it easier to access and study.
Lord may Your blessings be upon those who sought to lay out study materials - upon their posterity to the 3rd and 4th generation. Lord, bless all of Your diligent students - let Your word be magnified in all the earth. Let Your glory radiate out of us as we draw closer to You each and every day.
