Days 215-216 ~ 2010

A further message - the broken covenant - Jeremiah 11:1-23; 12:1-17 (thank you Lord for your everlasting covenant, conceived, initiated, performed and maintained by the Lamb of God.)

Birth of Zedekiah - 2 Kings 24:18

Birth of Jehoiachin - 2 Kings 24:8

Nineveh, Assyrian capital destroyed by Babylonians - 612 B.C.

Babylon is the World Power - 612 B.C. - 539 B.C. (Daniel's 1st World Empire)

Josiah slain in battle against Egyptians (39 years) - 2 Kings 23:28-30; 2 Chronicles 35:20-24

Lamentation for Josiah - 2 Chronicles 35:25-27

Jehoahaz (3 months - BAD) - an evil life - 2 Kings 23:31; 2 Chronicles 36:1-2

Judah pays tribute for a year - 2 Kings 23:33; 2 Chronicles 36:3

Jehoahaz taken captive, dies (23 years) - 2 Kings 23:34; 2 Chronicles 36:4; Jeremiah 22:10-12

Jehoiakim (11 years - BAD) - made king, pays tribute to Egypt - 2 Kings 23:36-37, 35; 2 Chronicles 36:5

Sign of the Yoke - Jeremiah 27:1-11 (God's sovereignty in raising up and taking down nations as HE wills and desires.)

Message in the temple court - Jeremiah 26:1-7

Proclaimed a traitor, yet was protected - Jeremiah 26:8-19 (ever spoken forth the Word of Truth, only to be scorned, ridiculed, mocked or ostracized? - Father is faithful to reward those who rightly divide the Word and are not ashamed of HIM.)

Habakkuk's message as Jerusalem is about to be besieged by Nebuchadnezzar - the Lord's mercy in judgment - 606 B.C.

Habakkuk is perplexed; evil is not punished - Habakkuk 1:1-17

Jehovah responds; evil will be punished - Habakkuk 2:1-20 (be not deceived, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap - Lord, help us to repent of our sins, to not allow anything to gain a foothold.)

Habakkuk's praise and prayer of faith - Habakkuk 3:1-19

*~*~*~*Lord help us to praise and glorify Your name - to give a proper estimate of You in all that we say, do and think. Forgive us, help us to seek You when we sin...help us to pray for our fellow brethren and the nation into which You have placed us. ~*~*~*
