7th deportation - final one...7 - spiritual perfection...I could not find my book on biblical numbers...google to the rescue and found this site:

www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-n...le/introduction.html

Again...I DO NOT vet the websites...when I am looking for something specific, I grab and go...be a Berean! Please do not FLAME me if a website does not line up with your theology, mindset, etc. etc.

The FIREY FURNACE - any child who has sat through a Sunday school or vacation Bible School has heard this story...but the magnitude of it still amazes me. First, only Daniel's 3(3 = complete) companions are called onto the carpet (so to speak) for not bowing down to an idol...I have always wondered where was Daniel? Father obviously providentially provided that he be elsewhere. Have you ever reflected back on a situation or circumstance and realized that somehow, someway, Father made sure you were not in a place of harm, or compromise?

Interesting as well that Nebuchadnezzar gives the 3 Hebrews a second chance...he did not just take the word of those who were accusing, he wanted to 'judge' rightly regarding their trespass. Would this seem to indicate that he held them in high esteem?

Yet, they stick to their guns...knowing that God will either deliver them or they will go to be with Him, having stood firm on the rock of their salvation. How diligent are we to not bow to the idols of our era? To stand firm against the pulling and nagging of the culture to conform?

They withstand and Father rewards them via the king of Babylon - he promoted them. When we stand firm for our God, HIS standards of right and wrong, HE will reward us...either now or later...but reward us HE will. He is faithful to sustain us through all of life's storms.

Which brought to mind this song: Sometimes He Calms the Storm by Scott Krippayne. Here is the link for the video:

Watchman and Shepherds - both receive warning...Lord, You alone know how many are not being diligent in these areas. Father, you alone, can cause those in positions of authority to act righteously. Raise up Your prayer warriors for those in positions of authority. Remove those who pervert Your word and Your ways. Expose those who preach and teach a false gospel. Lord, raise up a multitude of watchmen to speak for Your Word. A host of Shepherds who rightly divide and proclaim Your TRUTH.
