~*~*~*~*~Faithless shepherds...that is not only our nation, but the many throughout the world. We have a plethora of preachers, teachers, pastors, many of who preach a prosperity or easy beliefism. Then we have the houses of 'worship' which cater to the person - seeker friendly churches. What is a persons greatest need? To know that they are a sinner, saved by grace, through faith. That Jesus, the sinless son of God, stepped down from Majesty on high, took our sin upon HIS sinless self, to save us from the slave market of sin. Imputed (gave us, ascribed to us) HIS righteousness and gave us full entrance unto the throne of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Not because we deserved it. Not because we earned it. Not because we would EVER have chosen HIM...we were dead, remember? Dead people do not make choices. He chose us, not for anything would were or ever would be...no HE did not look down the corridor of time and think ahhhh, that one will choose me....HE did it simply to magnify HIM and to GLORIFY HIMSELF. He chooses who HE will, there are vessels fitted for the masters use and then there are those who are not chosen. Does your nation preach a true message?

Awesome exhortation: www.ligonier.org/learn/articles/preach-word/ - this pastor has written a book Famine in the Land - it is well worth the read, as is This Little Church Went to Market by John Gilley.
