Day 228
The exile illustrated - Ezekiel 12:1-28
False prophets - Ezekiel 13:1-23; 14:1-23
Parable of the vine - Ezekiel 15:1-8
I like the visual demonstration of impending punishment...auditory follow up...how observant are we of those warnings Father gives us via either sight or sound? Interesting in that having ears to hear, they hear not, having eyes to see they see not...dead men are the same regardless of nation or the time that they live.
False prophets? Hmmm...politians...those who speak great swelling words of peace, peace, when there is no peace. Prosperity, when there is none. How discerning are we of our current day 'prophets'? Do we hold them to the test that Father dictates for testing a TRUE prophet? If what they prophesy come not to pass, they are a false prophet. Take care little ears what you hear. Be discerning in all that is given.
Idols - they had idols in their hearts...what are we idolizing? What is an idol? Would we recognize and repent of them, once they are made known?
