- Begins to build - 1 Kings 6:1, 37; 2 Chronicles 3:1-2

- God's promise to Solomon - 1 Kings 6:11-13

- Dimensions of the Temple - 1 Kings 6:2; 2 Chronicles 3:3

- Materials of the Temple - 1 Kings 6:7, 9; 2 Chronicles 3:5-7

- Porch (20 x 10 cubits - note singular) - 1 Kings 6:3; 2 Chronicles 3:4

- Windows - 1 Kings 6:4

- Stories - 1 Kings 6:5-10

- Most Holy Place - 1 Kings 6:16-22; 2 Chronicles 3:8-9

- Cherubim - 1 Kings 6:23-28; 2 Chronicles 3:10-13 - I never thought to ask this before this year...why did they not use the Cherubim that were in the Tabernacle? E-Sword...there were Cherubims (plural) placed at the garden of Eden...the Cherubim made for the Tabernacle did not list a size, while these passages state the wing of one cherub was 5 cubits (cubit = roughly 18 to 20 inches).

- Vail - 2 Chronicles 3:14

- Walls and floor - 1 Kings 6:15, 29-30 - the floor was overlaid in gold...I never saw this before either...reading through again and again is such a joy, new discoveries all the time. :-) Made me think of the street of gold (singular) in the new Jerusalem.

- Doors - 1 Kings 6:31-35

- Completion of the Temple building - 1 Kings 6:14; Psalm 127, 128; 1 Kings 6:38

Building of the Royal Palace (13 years = depravity and rebellion) - 1 Kings 7:1

- House of the forest of Lebanon - 1 Kings 7:2-5

- Porches (50 x 30 cubits - note plural) - 1 Kings 7:6-7

- House for the King and his wife (singular, for now) - 1 Kings 7:8

- Materials of the building - 1 Kings 7:9-11

- The great court - 1 Kings 7:12
