Isaiah and Jeremiah were considered to be the 1st and 2nd greatest prophets...Isaiah was married to a prophetess, while Jeremiah remained single. O' that Father would raise up such prophets today...not to foretell future events...but to be as bold and vigilant to speak forth HIS truth to the nations.

Jeremiah 50:7 - "...their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord..." Those who were destroying were JUSTIFIED. They knew that the nation they were destroying was weighed in the balance and found wanting. Why? Because they had sinned against the Lord.

There is no righteous nation on the face of the earth...we are all wicked and deserve the wrath of God. Yet, HE in His sovereign will, and gracious mercy allows nations to remain...for a time...some nations are no more, like Babylon, never to be rebuilt, some are mere shadows of their former glory. Why? Because we sin against the Lord.

Nations are not judged at the end of time...they are judged here on this side of glory. Father even uses those who are more wicked to judge those who are sinning. Could Father use a nation, more wicked, perverse, evil than the USA to judge us? Most certainly. Are we, those elect, sovereignly placed within this nation, crying out for repentance and revival? Do we even hear the watchman on the wall, crying out?

Jeremiah 50:25 - "The Lord has opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation..." - God has an armoury. H214 - From H686; a depository: - armory, cellar, garner, store(-house), treasure (-house) (-y).

I thought this amusing...solely because I had already looked up H214 as part of the Proverbs study I am doing with my son...

Pro 8:21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Treasures - do you know what Father keeps in HIS treasury? What treasure are you storing up?

Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
