Curious:
Amo 2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

I thought it interesting, as I browsed through, in Psalms H6662 is used 52 times, in Proverbs 66 times! Ahh, so many nuggets and treasures in our Father's Word. May you be blessed by Him, as you spend time in His Word and learning of, through and about Him.
poor - H34 - From H14, in the sense of want (especially in feeling); destitute.
- H14 - A primitive root; to breathe after, that is (figuratively) to be acquiescent

Translated as: Poor, needy, beggar.
Psalm 9:18 - For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psalm 69:33 The Lord heareth the poor.
David considered himself poor and needy. Psalm 86:1
The Lord maintains the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. Psalm 140:12
Pondering upon this passage:
Pro 31:20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
